Best Bets for St. Patricks’s Day in Vacaville

March! The month where Leprechauns run rampant and people dance the shamrock shuffle after a few green beers. Well, lucky for Vacaville residents and nearby travelers we have plenty of activities planned around St. Patrick Day. Here are a few local outings you must check out:

  • Celtic Mystery at Vacaville Performing Arts Theater – A St. Patrick’s Day Celebration! Learn a wee bit of Irish and enjoy the magic of Ireland. Director Katherine Martin spent a decade in Northern Ireland and weaves authenticity with Irish magic in this pre-Paddy’s Day celebration. Expect an evening of Celtic music, dance, and stories! Tea, shortbread and face painting will be available as well. 3/15/2012 Tickets available through the VPAT. First show begins at 7pm.
  • Luck of the Irish at Nut Tree Plaza - Come out to the Nut Tree Plaza and wear some green. Wear something easily visible that is green and take advantage of our promotional ticket pricing. Buy two train tickets, get one free!
  • St. Patrick’s Day Feast - The Vacaville American Legion Post 165 will host its 21st annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner!  The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a no-host bar, followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The menu will includes corned beef and cabbage, red potatoes and dessert. 3/17/2012 at the Vacaville Veterans Hall. Tickets are $15 and are available at the hall Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
